Emergency
Out of Hours Calls - Telephone 01724 290444
Medical emergencies outside of Surgery
opening hours are dealt with by the Scunthorpe Area GP Emergency Centre based
in the Accident and Emergency Department of Scunthorpe General Hospital. This
service is commissioned by the North Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust for patients
in North Lincolnshire. If you have a serious medical problem, which cannot wait
until the surgery is open, please call 01724 290444. Your call will be taken by
a Nurse from NHS Direct, who will give advice, log your call and pass it to a
doctor (if appropriate) from the GP Emergency Centre to deal with accordingly.
Your call may be recorded. The emergency doctor who visits may belong to another
practice, but the GP Emergency Centre will notify the practice regarding your
consultation. Please remember that the duty doctor may be making himself available
out of hours in addition to the normal full working day. The number to ring for
emergencies out of hours is Scunthorpe 290444.
Access
For The Disabled
Both surgeries accommodate disabled
patients with wheelchairs, and have disabled toilets.
Reducing The Risk Of Infection
We take cleanliness and hand hygiene very seriously. It is ok to ask a member of staff to clean their hands before they care for you. Please report any problems about cleanliness to a member of staff. Please use the hand cleanser provided in the surgery entrance.
